Hello and welcome, I am glad that you are here. This page is dedicated to my art work. I enjoy painting plants and landscapes in oils or acrylic. I work in porcelain whenever I can tear myself away from playing the piano.
Natural World
As an outdoor kid from way back, I draw a great deal of inspiration from the natural world. During the summer months in Minnesota, I enjoy gardening, kayaking, fishing, and hiking. My favorite thing is to paint flowers from my garden and scenery from my outdoor adventures during the deep, cold winters. I like to create shareable art like greeting cards and prints.
The quiet winter months also lend themselves to handbuilt, slab, and wheel ceramics projects in porcelain and raku. Piano is a year 'round obsession.
